| Jonny Hoehna | ||||||
| (bass, lead guitar) born in Toronto, Canada but raised in southern Oregon, Jonny has been involved with music since the age of 9 when he started playing trumpet in school band. He picked up guitar at 14 and joined the military band system at 22. Jonny was part of the Army Bands Program for 10 years playing trumpet and euphonium...graduating from the Armed Forces School of Music in 1984. He has traveled and played in many different countries around the Pacific rim. Honorably discharged in 1991 Jonny stayed in music by playing guitar in a blues combo in Newport, Oregon. In 1997 he picked up the bass and became the third part of the Paul Bouma Jazz Trio. He joined Primo in 2003 after moving to the Seattle area due to a job transfer.
